Update: March 19, 2020

A couple of days ago, we communicated with you about the steps we have taken to help prevent the spread of COVID-19 while continuing to provide you with the services you require. The purpose of this communication is to keep you updated about further steps we are taking to help you with any health care concerns that we can appropriately manage. Our goal is to help our health care colleagues, who are already working to their full capacity and remove some of the non-emergent needs patients have. Helping you get the services you need while removing the risk of transmitting or acquiring an illness is the goal, especially while we are in a state of emergency and social distancing has become a new normal. Our health care system is at a max, compounded with increasing illnesses attributed from the COVID-19 pandemic. Simcoe Holistic Health Ltd., dba WeedWell™ is taking steps to provide enhanced services to our existing patients. These enhancements are to help decrease the demands on the entire health care system and prevent our clients from accessing services that are already taxed while removing the transmission of any diseases.

Our services will be enhanced during the COVID-19 health challenge at NO COST to you.

Who can access our enhanced services?

Current & registered patients with SHH can access physician services for minor, nonprocedural appointments via telephone. This includes your immediate family (spouse & child), living at the same residence.

We have increased access times to speak with our physician.  You will have to complete a quick questionnaire to help maximize our time and to help with your inquiry.  At the completion of the questionnaire you can self-schedule an appointment with our physician starting Thursday March 19th, 2020. Please be sure to leave a phone number we can reach you at for your appointment. We will call you at your scheduled time, please do not come into the clinic.

Effective Tuesday, March 17th, our Barrie office is closed, but our team remains available to assist you.  We ask that you do not visit our office.  Our staff is committed to delivering the services you rely on to help improve your quality of life with the use of cannabis.

Staying safe and informed
Although Health Canada has classified the risk to Canadians as low, we’re taking extra precautions. This includes encouraging and supporting staff by staying home and providing services online to our clients.

As health care providers, our team is focused on helping you any we can provide.  While at the same time, physicians are being directed to improve access across the health care system, especially for those who may have serious health concerns.  Limiting access to our services will help the entire health care system in managing this public health concern.  We are committed to doing our part to help slow the spread of this new virus. When possible, we encourage social distancing, as recommended by the Public Health Agency of Canada, and suggest that contacting us via phone, email or online is preferred during this time.

Additional resources
As things continue to change, the amount of information you receive can feel overwhelming. To stay safe and informed, we recommend that you refer to the Public Health Agency of Canada for reliable advice and news

Thank you for your patience and understanding
